This course is a six day course combining both BPS Level A & B.

The first three days of the course will follow the BPS Level A curriculum providing participants with the necessary knowledge, skills and ability to appropriately administer ability and aptitude tests.



The subsequent three days will follow the BPS Level B curriculum and will aim to broaden the participants knowledge and skills through the introduction of personality assessments and their interpretation and use.

By the end of the six day combined course participants will:

• have obtained relevant underpinning knowledge within the area of psychometrics, specifically covering the nature and theories of ability and mental testing and personality theory
• have an appreciation of the use of both personality and ability/aptitude tools within an occupational context
• be comfortable in dealing with typical problems and issues during the testing and assessment session
• be competent in the effective management, usage, security and storage of test and assessment materials
• be able to advise when it is appropriate to use ability tests and personality assessments, and when it is not

This course will appeal to anyone wishing to further develop their knowledge in test and assessment administration and those wishing to obtain a formal qualification in psychometric test and assessment administration.

This course will be particularly useful to those in Human Resources roles or those with responsibility for staff selection and development.
